Some strange old times ahead
The world certainly seems to be a weird old place at the moment, with Donald Trump surprisingly being voted new president of the USA, uncertainty over whether or not the Brexit will actually happen and of course the continuing tragedy that is unfolding in the Middle East. All this may world away from you guys and gals who use vans to
do all kinds of jobs such as plumbing, parcel delivering and suchlike – but make no mistake, we are all affected in some way by global events. It may mean higher fuel prices, it may lead to higher interest rates or it may mean something else that I haven’t
even dreamed of yet.
But one thing is certain in
these uncertain times – you
all need to be running a
tight ship where your vans
are concerned or your
businesses will suffer.
And that, as usual, is where
we at Trade Van Driver come
in. Each issue is packed with
news, views, road tests and
features that will all go to help
you run a safe, cost-effective
set of vans.
So as we roll up towards
Christmas – which I know is the busiest time for many of you – may I wish you all the best for the season and hope for happier times ahead in 2017. We certainly need them!
